You might have some questions, here are some answers. Here is how we work:

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM US

You’re booked and we’re pumped to be part of your vendor team!  Rest assured, we’re going to help make it an awesome celebration that will be memorable and fun for you and your guests! Thanks for trusting us to be a part of one of the best days of your life!


Here are some things you need to know to make this ride even smoother:


  • How to get ahold of us:  Email is the best way to reach your DJ to make changes or communicate. Should you misplace their contact information, just reach out to the office at hello@magnightentertainment.com .
  • Availability:  Everything with our team can be done via video chat or over the phone but if you want to meet in person, just let your DJ know. Most of our meetings are weekday evenings. Weekend meetings are typically not available due to our event schedule.
  • Emails from us: You will get various emails along the way. Some are reminders to do things like fill out your planners, others are offering an amazing service you may not know you needed, and others are tips/helpful info. We like to stay in touch! One last thing, you will get an email from us AFTER the wedding as well, and we love reviews (hint hint).
  • Sample timeline:  Below you’ll find a link for a sample timeline.  Every wedding is different and we will do whatever you’d like. This is simply what we have found works best.
  • Meals:  You are not required to feed the DJ. We won’t starve. If you do want us to eat, we will do it quickly with the other vendors and out of sight of guests.
  • Arrival/set-up:  On your wedding day, we typically arrive about 1.5 to 2 hours before the event.
  • Requirements: As per the contract, we don’t anything but power. We are easy.
  • Gratuities: Tipping is totally up to you! We typically see 10-20% tips if the DJ was amazing.
  • The Music: Of course, this is the most important thing to us, heck, we are DJs. If it’s important to you, take some time to work on your online planners, or send us the link to your fave Spotify playlist. Speaking of, if you need any help we'll send you some sample playlists. We always like to say, your MC puts the rhythm and heartbeat into your wedding day.  Therefor the timing of which we do things matters.  We will work with your venue and coordinator to build your perfect wedding day.  

SAMPLE TIMELINE 2024-2025

West coast weddings average 6-7 hours in total, its up to you what you would like to do during your celebration. We believe rhythmic flow is important not only with music, but with the timing of events. This is a sample of what we have found works really well with our couples, and keeps the fun going throughout your entire celebration.



WEDDING CEREMONY (1 HOUR)

 30 minutes Prelude/Guest Seating

30 Minute Ceremony


SOCIAL/COCKTAIL HOUR(1 Hour)

because we want your guests to get comfortable while you finish up with photos.


WEDDING RECEPTION CELEBRATION (4-6 Hours)

- Introduction of Wedding Party 

-Introduction of Newlyweds

- Blessing (If were having one)

- Dinner/Meal

- Toasts (4-6 Total)

- Family/Parent/Sibling Dances

- Kick off the PARTY!

-Cake Cutting (If you want it to be announced)

-Honeymoon/Money Dance (If we're going it)

- Protected* Party Time (2 Hours)

- One final dance with everyone on the dance floor 

-Group Hug, Happy Tears, High Fives and Goodbyes!
